Founded in 1881, the Osterville Village Library has evolved into a vibrant community hub, seamlessly blending its historical roots with forward-thinking innovation. Originally established as a traditional library, it now serves as a model for the library of the future, offering cutting-edge resources such as virtual and augmented reality, 3D printing, a Zoom Room, a Makerspace, and an interactive learning table.

The library is committed to meeting children where they learn best, providing diverse tools like books, e-books, and interactive platforms to foster literacy and engagement. Social groups, including canasta and rug hooking, and civic organizations such as the Osterville Village Association find a welcoming space for connection and collaboration. With 24/7 access to books and resources, through our AutoLend kiosk, thriving book clubs, and a dedication to literacy for all ages, the Osterville Village Library continues to enrich the community, combining tradition with innovation to inspire learning and creativity.
